If you have a furnace then that means you have an air filter. These guys do more than you think. Your air filter lives in your return vent which, pulls air into your furnace. Air filters catch dust and debris to keep your furnace and air clean. It is important that you change your filter every 3 months. If the filter gets too dirty your furnace won’t be able to suck enough air to keep it running properly. If this happens your furnace will overheat and shut down for safety reasons. Making it important to keep up with filter changes. If you notice your filter is really dirty in between changes it may be time to clean your homes ducts.
